TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane moved up to No. 24 in the second College Football Playoff Rankings released on Tuesday night.
Tulsa was 25th in the first rankings a week ago, making its first CFP ranking since beginning in 2014. Tulsa had previously been ranked in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) rankings two previous seasons. The CFP system replaced the BCS system in the 2014 campaign.
Tulsa first moved into the BCS standings, which began in 1998, with a No. 25 ranking on Oct. 15, 2006. Tulsa was ranked for three weeks in 2008 in the BCS standings, including its debut at 19th (Oct.
