TULSA, Okla. –– University of Tulsa Head Football Coach Philip Montgomery announced today that the Golden Hurricane added three high school seniors to its signing class for a total of 17 newcomers for 2022.
Tulsa added Oklahoman Kyron Grayson, a defensive back from Beggs, Okla., and two players from the state of Texas, including defensive lineman Vontroy Malone and tight end Connor Vaughn. Each of the three signees add to the length and speed that Montgomery's recruiting classes have targeted.
"We have somethings that have paid dividends for us in the past in recruiting and we continue to go that mode.
