TULSA, Okla. –– During this "Loyal, Always True to Tulsa" season, The University of Tulsa today announced Game Themes for the 2021 Golden Hurricane football season.
TULSA THANKS … TULSA LEGACY … TULSA CREATES … TULSA CELEBRATES … TULSA SALUTES … and, TULSA SEND OFF… are the themes for the six home games this season as TU celebrates the community and people of Tulsa.
The home opener on Thursday, Sept. 2, against UC Davis is slotted as "TULSA THANKS" Game. The game is a 'thank you' to the frontline workers (doctors & nurses), first responders (police officers, firefighters, EMT) and educators (professors & teachers) in the northeastern Oklahoma community.
