TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team was on the practice field for the first day of preseason camp this morning well before the official sunrise of 6:31 a.m. The Golden Hurricane ushered in the 2019 season with a 2-hour workout on the turf at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
"I was really happy with day one. Our energy level was really, really good," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery. We have a lot of rust to knock off, you can tell that from a tempo standpoint we have to get much better. Defensively, we have to communicate a little more.
