After taking Monday off for the annual media Day, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team was back on Harwell Field Tuesday morning for a 135-minute practice in shorts and shoulder pads.
Head Coach Philip Montgomery with pleased with the way the Hurricane came back after an off day.
"I thought we really bounced back after the day off. I thought our guys really needed the day off, and today the energy level was unbelievable. The good Lord blessed us with a little bit cooler of a morning and we took advantage of it," said Montgomery.
