TULSA, Okla. –– Tulsa dropped a 16-13 decision against New Mexico as the Lobos' Jason Sanders knocked through a 53-yard field goal for the victory as time expired in front of 18,026 fans Saturday afternoon at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

It was the second consecutive week that Tulsa lost on a last second field goal.

The Lobos controlled possession time for 42:41 of the game.
