The Tulsa men's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to #4 SMU on Saturday night at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to 3-5 on the season and 0-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Mustangs moved to 8-0 overall and 1-0 in the league.
"I thought SMU moved the ball exceptionally well and they caused us problems early on up top, but we have to do a better job as coaches to sort that out," Head Coach said. "We lacked energy tonight and SMU played with a lot of energy, which put us in a hole.
