LAWRANCE, Kan. – The Tulsa men and women's track team opened its indoor season at the Bob Timmons Challenge on Saturday. The Golden Hurricane collected three individual victories and added one first-place finish in the women's distance medley.
Aaliyah Birmingham earned her first win of the year with a time of 7.412 seconds in the 60-meter dash, which was a fraction of a second faster than ORU's Aneikeme Etim's time of 7.420 seconds.
In the 3,000-meter run, Alyssa Bolliger started her senior campaign with a victory as she posted a time of 10:23.
