Tulsa's fifth-ranked men's soccer team claimed their first American Athletic Conference Regular Season title with a 3-2 win over Temple on Sunday night at the Temple Sports Complex in Philadelphia, Pa. The Golden Hurricane moved to 12-1-1 on the season and 7-1-1 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Owls fell to 2-11-2 overall and 0-9 in the league.
"I thought we were really good in the first half in terms of our possession," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "I thought we created good chances, we took control of the game early and defensively we were very good in the first half.
