STANFORD, Calif. & DES MOINES, Iowa – There's something about the Cobb Track and Angell Field facility at Stanford and the Tulsa track and field team running historic times, as five Hurricane runners secured top-10 finishes in school history on a brisk California night.
Earlier this month, and secured the second and third fastest 5,000-meter times in TU history at the Stanford Invitational, and tonight they secured the second and fifth fastest times, respectively, in the 1,500-meter. Power finished fourth at 3:40.97, while Akers placed seventh at 3:42.48.
