The Tulsa women's soccer team captured a 2-1 win over East Carolina on Sunday afternoon at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU moved to 7-6-1 on the season and 3-1 in the American Athletic Conference, while ECU fell to 4-8 overall and 0-2 in the league.
"I was really proud of our kids because they did what they needed to do, which was protect our home field and win both games," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said. "I am proud of the effort, and I think our depth played a big role this weekend, especially towards the end of this game.
