The Tulsa women's soccer team battled #25 Loyola Marymount to a 1-1 double overtime tie on Friday afternoon in the Sooner Classic at the OU Soccer Complex in Norman, Okla. TU moved to 0-0-1 on the season, while LMU moved to 0-0-1 overall.
The Golden Hurricane's Tana Dake scored the first goal of the season on a penalty kick at the 32:40 mark, but the Lions countered with their own PK scored by Maddie Medved in the 36th minute.
The teams remained scoreless through the final 78 minutes to end the contest in the tie.
