The Tulsa football team was back on the grass of Harwell Field in the morning as the Golden Hurricane had its first of two practices on Friday. On Saturday, Fan Fest and a team scrimmage is scheduled for the Hurricane, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Tulsa Head Coach Philip Montgomery, again, was pleased with the way the Hurricane came back Friday morning following an off day on Thursday.
"I thought our energy level was good towards the end of practice," said Montgomery. "I was a little worried when we first came out. I thought we'd need to prod along a little bit, maybe because of the weather, but our guys really picked it up and I thought we had a great practice.
