TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane volleyball team will play 11 matches against 2017 postseason tournament teams, as the 2018 Hurricane volleyball schedule was announced today.
Tulsa will face 13 teams with winning records last season, including 10 teams that had 20 or more wins. Of the 11 postseason tournament teams on the Tulsa schedule, four teams –– Purdue, East Tennessee State, Marquette and conference foe Wichita State – played in the NCAA Championship, while another seven opponents participated in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship, including Oral Roberts, Illinois State, North Texas and conference opponents UCF, Temple and twice against SMU.
