The Tulsa rowing team earned four top marks, three second-place finishes and two third-place marks in the first day of racing at the Tulsa Fall Invitational on Friday at the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest on the Verdigris River in Catoosa, Okla.
"I thought the women rowed very aggressively today and I was pleased to see them take on both the competition against SMU and KU as well as trying to engender some within the team," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "That was really evident in the Single and Double where we made up most of the entries.
