CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Golden Hurricane took to the road for the first time in American Athletic Conference play, as it took on the Bearcats of Cincinnati. Emily Thorson tied a career-high 21 kills, but TU fell, 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-11, 25-21).
Cincinnati jumped out to a 4-0 lead to start the first set. Tulsa managed to pull within two points, 14-12, but fell in the first set, 25-18. Emily Thorson led TU with four kills, while Rachael Moore and Emily Hubbard chipped in with two kills each. Ashton Anderson and Mariah Pardo each tallied four assists.
