TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa men's and women's cross country teams will open their 2018 season on Saturday morning when they host the Hurricane Invitational at Mohawk Sports Complex. The Golden Hurricane will face Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the race.
The day will begin with a men's four-mile race at 9 a.m., followed by the women's two-mile race at 9:30 a.m. The TU men's squad enters the season ranked sixth in the Midwest Region, with the women's team at No. 9.
Since 2010, the squads have combined to win 12-of-16 conference cross country championships, including a run of eight consecutive titles for the men's team.
