TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Track and Field team saw their second national champion in program history be crowned as senior and nine-time all-American Marc Scott used a late push in the 10,000-meters at the outdoor championships to take first place with a run of 29:01.54. Scott became Tulsa's first national champion since Chris O'Hare took first in the mile run at the indoor championships back in 2012.
Fellow senior and distance runner Luke Traynor finished eighth in the event to earn his fourth all-America honor as he finished inside the top-15 for the second consecutive year in the event.
