TULSA, Okla. –– Shaebug Scarberry, a top girls' junior golfer in the state of Oklahoma, signed a national letter-of-intent to play collegiate golf at The University of Tulsa, it was announced today by Golden Hurricane head coach Emilee Klein.
From Purcell, Oklahoma, Scarberry won the Oklahoma Class 3A state championship as a freshman and sophomore. She has a 73.2 scoring average in amateur golf this year and is ranked No. 151 in the nation and second in the state of Oklahoma.
"Shaebug is extremely accurate and has the feel and touch that is in line with the best players in the country," said Klein.
