TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa football team was on the turf at H.A. Chapman Stadium today for the first practice of preseason camp. It was the first time that the Golden Hurricane was back on the practice field since March 9 when following that workout the remainder of spring practice was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tulsa's first practice of camp began 9:15 and the Hurricane was off the field by 11 am on a wet and cloudy, but warm morning.
"There has been so much thought, preparation and wondering about this day. Today was special," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery.
