PHILADELPHIA — Junior Etou recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, but Temple outscored Tulsa 7-2 in the final three minutes to score a 59-58 win on Wednesday night at Liacouras Center.
Etou went 4-of-6 from the floor and pulled down 14 of his 15 rebounds on the defensive end for the Golden Hurricane (10-9, 3-4). Martins Igbanu neared a double-double with 12 points and eight boards, while Sterling Taplin added 11 points and Lawson Korita had 10.
