TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa's Taylor Horsfall has been named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday. This marks the fifth time the senior libero has received this award.
A native of Houston, Texas, Horsfall racked up 72 digs over the weekend, including 37 in the season opener vs. Pepperdine at the North Texas Invite. The 37 digs against The Wave gives her another record in the TU record books. It marks the fourth time in her career that eclipsed 37+ digs in a match.
