FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Carsyn Spurgeon and Jacob Brown each finished with the second-best performances in their events in program history on Friday, as the Tulsa track and field team competed at the Arkansas Invitational, hosted by Arkansas at the Randal Tyson Indoor Track.
After finishing the Crimson & Gold Invitational in December posting a new school record in the long jump, Spurgeon finished with the second-best jump in the books on Friday afternoon. She won the event with a mark of 6.00m (19' 8.
