TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team returned to the practice field today for the first of 15 spring practice dates. The Hurricane went through a 105-minute practice on the turf of H.A. Chapman Stadium.
Head Coach Philip Montgomery was pleased with Tuesday's workout with the energy that the Hurricane showed.
"I really loved our energy today," said Montgomery. "We have a lot of new faces and young guys that are getting reps, and I thought they handled it well. We didn't get our tempo exactly the way I wanted, but again it's the first day with new faces.
