STANFORD, Calif. – Catherine Horner and Maddie Withee each tallied three RBI, and Caitlin Sill pitched a two-hit shutout to lead Tulsa to an 11-0 (6 inn.) win at Stanford Saturday evening at the Louisville Slugger Classic at Smith Family Stadium. The Golden Hurricane fell to No. 11 Florida State, 8-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Hurricane (16-5) scored a run in the second and two in the third and fifth innings, then exploded for six runs in the sixth frame to top the host Cardinal (11-10).
