DALLAS, Texas – The University of Tulsa Women's Tennis team earned four singles wins in the heart of the lineup on Friday evening as they rallied to defeat North Texas 4-2 to improve to 6-1 on the year. The Hurricane will be back in action on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. when they host #5 Oklahoma State at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Rongrong Leenabanchong and Martha Matoula looked to keep Tulsa's chances of getting the doubles point in their match against Alexandra Heczey and Ivana Babic, but fell in a tightly contested tiebreak 7-6 (5).
