The University of Tulsa Commencement took place Saturday morning at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the TU campus. A total of 74 student-athletes, as well as six spirit squad members and 10 team managers/athletic trainers earned their degrees.
Tulsa football had the most graduates among the graduating class with a total of 27, including 10 of those student-athletes returning in the fall to complete their football eligibility. The women's rowing team was the next highest with 15 graduates.
Senior soccer student-athlete Kay Riojas was recognized with the Medicine Wheel Award, which honors faculty, staff, students and organizations that have provide meritorious contributions toward the well-being of our citizens and community.
