Tulsa's 2nd Varsity 4+ earned a second-place finish at the Louisville Cardinal Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tenn., on Sunday morning. TU faced #17 Wisconsin, #RV Clemson and Louisville in the second day of competition.
"It was a great first racing experience for the majority of the team," Interim Head Coach Olivia Staff said. "Each boat made improvements from race to race. We tried a variety of lineups and the team took on each change as a new opportunity to gain speed. We put up some strong performances against ranked teams, and the team is ready to build off the progress made this weekend.
