TULSA, Okla. – On Tuesday, May 5, The University of Tulsa senior Saana Saarteinen was named the Women's Tennis Player of the Year, and Head Women's Tennis Coach Dean Orford was named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, as announced by the league office.
The 29th-ranked Golden Hurricane (21-4 overall) had four players named to the All-Conference Team. Saarteinen earned a unanimous selection to be on the All-Conference Team, while freshman Martha Matoula, sophomore Ksenia Laskutova and junior Rongrong Leenabanchong were all named to the team.
