TULSA, Okla. – Senior Brandon Rachal was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the third time this season after leading the Hurricane in scoring and assists on the road against No. 8 Houston, it was announced today.
Rachal scored 18 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, had 2 steals and 3 assists in the game. He shot 6-13 (46%) from the field, 2-5 (40%) from three and 4-8 (50%) at the free throw line.
Rachal sparked a second half run by the Hurricane opening the half scoring the first 9 points for TU.
