TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane put in practice No. 6 on Wednesday morning, again with a heat index reaching over 100, and topping off at 112.
"Practice went really well. It was another hot day. I thought our guys came out and fought through it. I see us continuing taking strides to get better, I see us continuing to push each other to get better. I thought we attacked today the way I wanted us to," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery.
With the grueling heat of August, it's obvious that the work the players put in during the summer workouts have paid off.
