TULSA, Okla. –– After taking Saturday off from the practice field, the Tulsa football team returned to the grass of Harwell Field Sunday morning to unexpected but pleasant temperatures. The Hurricane practiced for two hours this morning in helmets and shoulder pads for the first time in the preseason.
"We were blessed with a really nice cool day for the first day of pads," said Head Coach Philip Montgomery. "I thought we did a really good job of coming out and executing on both sides of the football. We saw good plays on both sides.
