TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team returned to the practice field today for the fourth workout of preseason camp.
After the first three days in relatively cooler temperatures for the month of August, today's workout was in much hotter conditions. Temperatures rose to 95-degrees with a 101-heat index and 43-percent humidity on the turf of H.A. Chapman Stadium.
"I really liked the way we attacked today in our first day of really true heat. Today, we had no wind, we had humidity and the sun was just beaming. It was good to see our guys come out and really fight through it," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery.
