Coach Montgomery Post-Practice Interview
TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa football team was back practicing at Harwell Field Wednesday morning as the August heat returned with 75-percent humidity for the third session of preseason camp.
"Today our energy was high to start practice," said head coach Philip Montgomery. "This was really the first day of fall camp, we put shoulder pads on, the suns out, it's humid, it's hot, plus they're tired and sore. I thought we started really good. In the middle of practice we kind of faded a little, but we bounced back pretty well to finish out practice.
