TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team was on Harwell Field Wednesday morning for a 2-hour practice session, the 12th of preseason camp. The temperature started out at 78-degrees and increased to 86-degrees with a 95-heat index by the end of the workout.
"Things went well," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery. "It's been three days in a row where we've had a little different weather each day. We came out today and had a little cloud cover and humidity, and then all of sudden it burned off and got hot. I thought our guys handled it really well.
