Poor Shooting Costs Tulsa 57-46 Loss at Wichita State

After shooting a solid 42.9-percent in the first quarter, Tulsa was just 10-of-42 for 23.8-percent in the remaining three quarters, while the Shockers started the game at just 14-percent and was 44-percent in the final three frames for a 57-46 win on Wednesday night at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kan. The Golden Hurricane fell to 5-12 on the season and 0-4 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Shockers moved to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in the league.

"We got off to a good start shooting wise, but then we got away from what was working and that results in us shooting 23-percent, 26-percent and 21-percent in the other quarters," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said.
