Philadelphia Phillies' Bryce Harper exits after taking 96.9 mph pitch to his face against St. Louis Cardinals

Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper left Wednesday night's game against the Cardinals in St. Louis after getting hit in the face by a 96.9 mph fastball from reliever Genesis Cabrera.

Harper walked off the field on his own accord, displaying some blood on the left side of his nose. It was Cabrera's first pitch in the sixth inning.

Harper said his scans "came back good" in a video he posted to social media after Philadelphia's 5-3 win.

"Everything feels good," he said. "Everything came back good -- CT, all that kind of stuff.
