TULSA, Okla. – Alexis Perry was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, and Samantha Pochop was selected to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after the Hurricane swept the Memphis Tigers, it was announced today.
Perry dominated from the plate, setting a new single-game record for runs batted in during the third game of the series. She drove in 7 Hurricane batters on 3 hits, ending the game with a double, grand slam and a run scored.
The Oklahoma City, Okla. native set the single-game RBI record of 7 during the first game of the double header.
