NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Tulsa men's tennis sophomore Kody Pearson saw his six-game winning streak end on Wednesday against Joseph Guillin, the 13th seed from UC Santa Barbara 7-5, 6-1 at the 2019 Oracle International Tennis Association (ITA) National Fall Championships. The men's championships are being played at The Tennis Club at Newport Beach Country Club in California.
The sophomore got off to a strong start in the Round of 64, winning his first two games for an early 2-0 lead in the first set. Guillin would eventually take his first lead of the set at 4-3.
