INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Tulsa senior Henry Pearce was selected as an at-large qualifier to the NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championships, held on Nov. 18 at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky., the NCAA announced on Saturday.
Pearce led the Golden Hurricane at Friday's NCAA Midwest Regional Championships with an eighth-place finish and 10K time of 29:18.43 to earn his second all-region honor. The time was the fastest 10K mark of his career.
"I'm very happy for Henry, who has worked extremely hard this season," TU head cross country coach Steve Gulley said.
