Patrick Dever Claims Third-Place Finish in 10,000m Run at Hayward Premiere

Patrick Dever claimed a third-place finish in the 10,000m run late Friday night at the Hayward Premiere in Eugene, Oregon.

Dever recorded a time of 28:28.13, trailing a pair of Iowa State runners, Wesley Kiptoo (27:58.10) and Edwin Kurgat (27:58.33). Scott Beattie earned a sixth-place finish (28:41.38), while Peter Lynch was 11th (28:53.12).

Caitlin Klopfer turned in a 10th-place finish in the women's 10,000m run with a time of 33:33.86. Boise State's Clare O'Brien was over 50-seconds faster with her first-place finish of 32:43.70.
