Tulsa, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team lost to No. 19 Texas in a 4-2 decision Saturday afternoon at the Westwood Country Club. The No. 27 Golden Hurricane improves/falls to 9-9 overall, while Texas improves to 12-6 overall.
Julian Zlobinsky and George Goldhoff (No. 2) defeated Dylan McCloskey and Dominic Bechard, 6-0, giving the Longhorns a 1-0 doubles point advantage. The Hurricane battled back as Matthew Kirby and Francois Kellerman (No. 1) defeated No. 61 Michael Riechmann and Adrian Ortiz in a 6-3 decision tying the doubles point at 1-1.
