Morgan Brady scored a career-high 16 points, while Shug Dickson added 15 and Erika Wakefield tallied 13 points in a 74-70 loss to SMU on Wednesday night at Moody Coliseum in Dallas, Texas. The Golden Hurricane fell to 8-16 on the season and 2-9 in American Athletic Conference play, while the Mustangs moved to 9-15 overall and 3-8 in the league.
"Morgan is a kid that is in the gym all the time," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "I was excited she did so well, but then SMU switched defenders on her in the second half and she didn't get any open looks.
