TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa football team practiced Sunday morning for two hours on the turf of H.A. Chapman Stadium, the first of 15 spring practices sessions for the Golden Hurricane.
"I loved our energy today. I thought we were flying around on both sides of the football. I thought our players communicated well. For the first day, no pads, I'm excited about the direction we're headed. I thought our leaders did a good job and I loved our energy," said Tulsa head coach Philip Montgomery.
"First practice, you always have butterflies, and you want to see how things are going to go.
