IRVING, Texas –– Tulsa junior Maya Mayberry was named to the American Athletic Conference Third-Team All-Conference, while Wyvette Mayberry was unanimously selected to The American All-Freshman Team, as announced today by the league office.
Maya Mayberry has a team-leading 14.3 points per game, while ranking fourth on the team in assists (22) and steals (20). She has 15 double-digit scoring contests on the year, including a season-high 28 points against Memphis, and recorded eight rebounds against #14 USF.
"We are all extremely excited for Maya," Tulsa Head Coach Matilda Mossman said.
