TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa junior left fielder Maddie Withee hit .727 in four games last week, and was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Withee, a native of Arlington, Texas, was 8-for-11 at the plate last week, including a 7-for-10 performance in Tulsa's weekend sweep of UConn. She posted an .818 slugging percentage and a .727 on-base percentage, driving a double and an RBI, and scoring two runs.
Friday against UConn, Withee went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run. She went 3-for-4 with a run against the Huskies on Saturday, and 2-for-3 on Sunday.
