Tana Dake scored a goal late in the game to give the Tulsa women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Utah Valley on Friday afternoon at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. TU moved to 1-3-1 on the season, while UVU fell to 1-4 overall.
Dake scored the goal in the 88th minute as she picked up a cross from Rachel Thun-Blankenship at the top of the box and shot from 10 yards out.
"Rachel did a great job of drawing some defenders to her, skated through them and played the ball to Tana at the top of the box, who had a great first touch and a great finish," Head Coach Kyle Cussen said.
