TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa senior guard Lawson Korita became the fifth Golden Hurricane basketball student-athlete to earn an American Athletic Conference weekly award this season being named to the weekly honor roll, the league announced today.
In a mid-week win against Tulane, 62-57, Korita scored 12 points on 4-of-6 (67%) shooting from the field and tying his career-high making 4-6 (67%%) from three. He added 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 35 minutes of action.
On the senior night the Little Rock, Ark. native, scored a career-high 20 points to lead Tulsa to a 65-54 victory over the UCF Knights.
