BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Tulsa's and set meet records, while took first in the 3,000-meter run, her third victory of the indoor season, as the Golden Hurricane women finished third and the men finished fourth to wrap up the final day of the 2022 American Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Beattie led the charge in the 3,000-meter run for Tulsa, setting a meet record at 7:59.43 as the Hurricane had runners finish in each of the top-six positions. It was the fifth straight win in the event for Tulsa. In the women's 3,000-meter run, Pesendorfer won her first 3,000-meter race after having victories in the mile and 5,000-meter run earlier this season.
