The Tulsa runners competed in the women's 1,500m run and men's and women's steeplechase on Friday night at the Joe Walker Invitational in Oxford, Miss., before severe weather halted the event. The Golden Hurricane runners returned on Saturday night and raced in the women's 800m run, men's 1,500m run, and men's and women's 5,000m run.
MEN
recorded a time of 13:48.61 in the 5,000m run, the third-best in school history, to finish third. (14 – 14:23.21), (23 – 14:34.43), (26 – 14:35.34), (28 – 14:38.52) and (34 – 14:51.65) round out the TU runners in the event.
